What is your primary product or service?
N.D.F. provides programs to teens and young adults. Our programs consist of money management skills, tools to successfully obtain employment, information to apply for continued education facilities and funding, and Respect and Etiquettes within society and business.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a child, my siblings and I endured hardships and abuse. I moved out when I was 16 and lived in my car for a few months and worked towards finishing school. I have since dedicated my life to assisting adolescents/young adults get through the most critical time of their life. Becoming a responsible adult is tough when proper support & guidance is not there.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I see that each life circumstance is different, and work with and treat each person as an individual. The same type of treatment may have happened to two different individuals, yet the short and long term may be relatable but the affects differ. N.D.F. provides programs for both individuals and groups specific to the person or persons.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
At this time Nurturing Dreams Foundation does not have a brick and mortar location. We rely on school districts to house our programs. We also occasionally are asked to host programs at other organization's sites. We are always seeking people to assist us in building and growing our cause. Eventually we would like a brick & mortar building to house and expand current programs.
