Magnum is a privately held, Texas-based roofing company that specializes in all types of commercial and residential systems. Business is maintained at a manageable level and our product line, suppliers and clientele have been carefully screened and selected. We firmly believe that we are only as strong as those we choose to do business with. Our sales personnel and technicians stay abreast of current roofing practices and proven materials.
Magnum employs multiple fully-trained roofing crews and project managers, with individual personnel who have 30 years of experience each. We will work with Texas windstorm inspectors.
Magnum is licensed, insured, and OSHA compliant. Quality control inspections are performed throughout projects.
Along with local licenses and certifications, Magnum also holds a Florida class A general contractors license, multiple states roofing contractors licenses, insurance license, Adjusters license, and approved applicator for many specialty systems.

What is your primary product or service?
All types of commercial, residential, and industrial roofing. Including but not limited to, repairs, re-roofs, consultations, inspections, rehabs, and any other roofing related services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Magnum Roofing originally started back in the mid 1950's with my Grandfather. Back then the company was known as Chilson Roofing, it started out as a small roofing repair company, ran out of the trunk of his car. It wasn't until the mid 1970's, when my father took over the business, that the named changed to Magnum Roofing. So I guess I can't really say when I bacame intrested, I was just kind of born into it. Like my wife says, I have tar running thru my blood.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
That is simple, our level of customer service. Every customer that we come in contact with has a different need and situation. We take every customers special situations into account and treat them as if they were our own, how would we want to have the circumstance handled if it was our home or business. Our customers are important, every little detail matters to us. Not only do we want our customers educated as to the issue or work that is or will be taking place, but we also want them 100% confortable with us. After all, we are being trusted with the one thing that protects our customers families and everything inside their home, the roof.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently we have 7 locations thru out the Nation. We do plan on expanding in the future, however we also want to insure that before any new locations are added that the locations we currently have are reaching and maintaining the level of service and quality that we have become known for.

My Wife and I own and run the Houston office.
What are your hours of operation?
Currently we have extended hurricane Ike hours, they are:
Monday - Friday 6am to 9pm
Saturday - 7am to 8pm
Sunday - 8 am to 6pm
We are closed daily from 12pm to 1pm for lunch.
