How long have you been in business?
9 years. We have been manufacturing TeJano Salsa for 27 years, Cheese dip for 9 years and tamales for 7 years.

What is your primary product or service?
Manufacturing is our primary service and we cook for start up companies as well. We have a tasting room where you can purchase our food to go or if you like eat in. If we are cooking something different, we will give you a taste and you can ask what we are cooking.
We now cook our corn and grind it as well for tamales. We sell pain masa or ready mix masa.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I wanted to buy the 89th street Fishing Pier in Galveston and cook what you catch. I like fishing and cooking fish.
The pier was sold and I was stuck with a Salsa Company. I know have a mobile pier called BOAT.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
There are no businesses in my category. Manufacturer, Walk-in food to go, Tasting Room from 6:10 to 5:30 PM. Closing will change to 7:00 October 1. Open Monday -Saturday. Saturday we open at 9:00 am. Party Room, I will cook your catch of the day for group of four or more after hours.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
1 location and plan on moving to a bigger location but not to soon. Change 1.

Take I-610 to South Post Oak exit. Take West Belford exit off South Post Oak. Turn right and then on W. Bellfort. Go past Chimney Rock light. Turn into 99 cent Store parking lot. We are on the far right conrner of the strip center next to Souther Dental.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Credit, and Debit. We NOW accept Amex. Apple Pay
Which areas do you service?
Our products are sold in Kroger, Randall's, Spec's, , Food Town, Fiesta's, Wal-Mart Texas, Louisiana
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The company runs me, Henry Riojas but, I am getting a handle on it now.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday - Friday 7:00 - 7:00 Saturday 11:00 am - 3:00 pm October 1, open until 3:00 pm - Saturday
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The food taste like my mom or grandmothers. It sparks memories of loved ones. And I like to feed people like my grandmother used to do. Eat, and eats some more. There is plenty.

My late partner Patricia Ann Wright said. "Never give up on a sale. You have to be persistent. We have a great product and people need to try it"
