How long have you been in business?
Since 1993 when I received my CFP designation.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a full service financial planning firm focused on helping clients prepare for retirement or cope with issues after retirement.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was a corporate lawyer for many years prior to changing careers in 1993. I find that helping people get ready for a financially secure retirement has been a very satisfying career personally.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
As a small firm we can give a client personal attention and make recommendations more efficiently.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have just one office but the office is considered a branch office of my broker dealer, IMS Securities, Inc.

Going west on I-10 take the Campbell Road exit and double-back under the freeway and take the feeder road going back toward downtown. Corbindale Road is the very first right off the feeder road, and my building is a small two-story building almost immediately on your right going south on Corbindale.
What type of payments do you accept?
No credit cards or cash. Checks usually should be payable to my broker dealer.
Which areas do you service?
Clients are in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I own the company and I run the daily operations with the help of one assistant. IMS Securities, my broker dealer, supports the operations with making sure that we follow the industry rules and regulations.
What are your hours of operation?
Hours are not fixed but we generally operate from 9 am to 5 pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
It would be a referral of a prospective client to us. Usually people are hesitant to recommend a financial advisor because the fear of things going wrong in the complex world of finance and investments. For someone to recommend me as financial advisor requires confidence in my ability to serve the prospective client and I always appreciate that vote of confidence.
